It all depends on the size of the space. Some properties can take anywhere from 4 to 8 hours depending on the size, but for 3,000 sqft it'll take about an hour and a half. Once the property has been scanned it will take between 24 and 48 hours for the model to process and to be uploaded into your account. Please note very large models (over 10k sq ft may take longer to process).

For commercial spaces you'll want to have your own Matterport account to host your tour. You may also want to have your own account if you want complete control over your capture.

Here's how Matterport works. First a space must be captured with a 3D camera. After that it's uploaded and processed by Matterport. In order for users to access the virtual tour it's got to live somewhere which is known as hosting. The only place a tour can be hosted is with Matterport and there's a monthly charge for this.

As part of the capture service your tour will be available for up to 5 months. If you need it longer there are two suggestions. We can host it for another 5 months for $50 or you can get your own account and we can transfer your space to you.
